Casket Girls: The Unsung Heroines of Colonial Louisiana

Come with me as I talk about the lesser talked about subject known as the Casket Girls. This subject first drew my attention as I was watching The Originals, the spin off of The Vampire Diaries, based in New Orleans. When I got to the episode revolving the festival, something about it really caught my attention and spoke to me, given that it's not one you typically hear about outside of New Orleans itself. So I wanted to bring it into light and talk about it, to the best of my ability.
